As your hosts on this journey, we want your yoga experience to be exactly what you need it to be. Offering a wide range of classes for the beginning student to the advanced practitioner, we each bring our own unique personalities and styles into each class to cater to everybody.

AMY CURTIS || is a RYT-200 and Co-Owner of BreatheIN. An athlete my entire life, I sought out yoga 6 years ago to complement my various fitness regimens. What I found, in addition to the physical benefits, is a life practice that brought about a greater sense of freedom, peace and calm. I teach my classes how I live my life…with a playful and energetic energy while seeking the greater depths of being. Reaffirming the importance of breath, mindfulness, and livin’ in the moment, my classes will have you challenged, reflexive and yearning for more. My passion is to spread all the great benefits that yoga has to offer! So come have fun on your mat and learn to BreatheIN all that life has to offer.

JENNY PETERS || is a RYT-200 and Co-Owner of BreatheIN. I found yoga 9 years ago, after giving birth to my first daughter. Looking for a way to get my body back in shape, what I found was full-life fitness, peace and a depth that I didn’t realize that my life had. The more I studied, the deeper my faith and my life grew. In the nine years since my first Down Dog, my personal practice has expanded, and as a result I have made difficult changes that brought my life in line with my beliefs. Now a corporate executive by day and single mother of two amazingly soulful, beautiful daughters (Riley, 9, and Reese, 6), I use the techniques of pranayama (yoga breathing), meditation and asanas daily. Emerson wrote that “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” I already know what is behind me and I couldn’t even guess what lies ahead, but with each trial and triumph, I have come to know what is within me. I honor that journey in myself and in you. Namaste.

DUSTY THOMPSON || brings a unique perspective to her yoga classes, incorporating vinyasa flow with a strong emphasis on breath as you focus on maintaining presence throughout your practice. Yoga found Dusty at the right place in the right time; as it always does. She has found yoga to be an essential part of her life, maintaining that fine balance between chaos and calm. As a marathon runner, Cancer survivor and Registered Nurse, yoga is a key element to staying healthy and injury free. Yoga always brings her back to the present, to her breath. Dusty completed her RYT-200 in January of 2008, at CitYoga with renowned teachers Nikki Myers and Marsha Pappas. Beginning in January of 2009, Dusty will begin a groundbreaking 500 hour AYTT with the celebrated and gifted yogini, Nancy Schalk. The Heartland Yoga Therapy program will be based out of the IU Simon Cancer Center, leading to direct work with patients, families, survivors and hospital staff. Dusty welcomes you to a yoga experience, promising a fusion of music, breath, candlelight and a soft voice in the distance guiding you along the journey...BreatheIN, breathe out...

JENNIFER LAMKIN || has been practicing yoga for over a decade and considers it her foundation for living.  She loves to share yoga with others, especially her husband and two young daughters. She received her yoga training at the Kriya Yoga Temple in Chicago, Illinois and completed her certification for prenatal yoga from Lisa Matkin.

STEPHANIE SAWYER || RYT-200 (CitYoga'04) teaches and writes from her beloved red house river studio. Proud mom to Will (8) and Annabelle (6), Steph is continuing her 500-hr studies with Nancy Schalk and Heartland Yoga Therapy. My classes are an inspirational fusion of several styles of yoga and are taught from the heart with an attitude of love and gratitude! I teach a slow flow restorative class as well as a warrior flow vinyasa. All are welcome. Together, let's BreatheIN!

JACKIE VIRGIN || has always been fascinated by movement and the amazing capabilities of the human body having studied and worked as a professional modern dancer and choreographer since 2003. Jaclyn began to search for yoga classes to tame her body and spirit while undergoing the rigorous life of a dancer. In 2006 she underwent a knee surgery that caused her to gracefully bow out of the professional scene of Modern dance. She found the joy of yoga healing not just her knee, but also her soul. Jaclyn received her 200 hour certification from CitYoga in Indianapolis, IN. under the guidance of Nikki Myers and Marsha Pappas. Jaclyn now would like to share her practice with others allowing individuals to seek their personal bliss through postures, grace, breath, and joy. Once the passion grows it must be shared.

KELLI WILSON || Hello, my name is Kelli Wilson, I stumbled onto this yoga path about 3 years ago. This journey has truly brought me HOME--back to my true self--a simple, loving being. Besides being a mom to 4 amazingly, beautiful, talented children, I'm a nurse with a new found passion/respect for nutrition/holistic healing. I am trained at the 200 Hour level with Nikki Myers and Marsha Pappas at CITYOGA. I invite my students to reconnect to their own true nature of LOVE through re-aligning their body/mind/spirit through not only some fun yoga practices, but also how to feed their body and soul with good nutrition. This would be a true blessing. I LOVE, LIVE and BELIEVE in the power of yoga. Now my final invitation is for you to step onto this glorious path with me and let's learn from each other. Namaste.

JOCELIN ROMERO || is a certified yoga instructor through the CITYOGA 200 hour teacher training course. She has also gone through the Yoga Purpose & Action Leadership training designed by the Off the Mat organization. Jocelin's yoga journey began 2007 after she underwent brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. Yoga has given her the tools to embrace life with an open heart & mind which is something she strives to share with others.
