Pilates & Sculpt Instructor
Brooke is a pilates instructor, illustrator, and mother of two little boys that keep her on her toes. Before becoming an instructor, Brooke practiced mat pilates regularly at home and in different studios when she resided in Boston, MA. Her interest in becoming a certified instructor peaked when she started attending mat pilates and barre classes after finishing her day working her job at a marketing agency. A couple years later, she pursued the idea and earned her certification from AFPA.
After becoming an instructor at Breathe In Yoga, Brooke began to experiment with her teaching style, making her class her own by incorporating a mix of yoga, strength training, and barre into her practice, thus creating "Pilates Fusion". Though this style is a bit different from traditional teachings, it is still deeply rooted in the founding practice created by Joseph Pilates.
"Breathwork, pacing, and core activation are vital" she says. "However, I wanted to create a class that people would get the most out of in 45 minutes. And trust me, it works!"
When she's not on the mat, Brooke can be found in her studio working on her next illustration, in her kitchen cooking up something delish, or making memories with her family.
